AML / CTF and customer due diligence (CDD)

SBOS.AI can host Customer Due Diligence (CDD) workflows so your firm meets AML/CTF obligations when onboarding or reviewing clients.

Feature availability

AML screens are permission-gated and may be marked as beta in your tenant. If you do not see the menus described here, your firm may not have licensed or enabled the module.

Where to find AML tools

Entry pointUse case
Compliance → AML dashboardPortfolio view (/user/compliance/aml-dashboard). Requires ReleasePermission.Beta and CddProfile.View (user.router.ts).
Contact / Organisation / Client → AML tabReleasePermission.Beta and CddProfile.View on those entity routes (user.router.ts).
Matter → AML tabReleasePermission.Beta and MatterAmlGate.View (user.router.ts).
CDD run detail (/user/contacts/.../aml/cdd-runs/:runId and org variant)ReleasePermission.Beta and CddRun.View.

Typical practitioner workflow

  1. Open the client or matter you are onboarding.
  2. Switch to the AML tab and start or continue the guided checks your firm configured.
  3. Upload supporting evidence and answer questionnaires as required.
  4. Submit for internal review if your process includes a second approver.
  5. Resolve exceptions (for example expired ID, mismatch in address) before opening the matter for billing.

Roles and permissions

AML features use fine-grained permissions such as CddProfile.View, MatterAmlGate.View, CddRun.View, and beta ReleasePermission.Beta, as declared on the routes above. Never share screenshots of verification data outside approved channels.
