Outcomes
Outcomes are used to help group various Components and their associated resources. There may be one or more Outcomes associated with an Offering. Each Outcome is a description of what the Client wants to get out of their engagement with us.
In the Outcomes section you can perform many actions.
Add an Offering Outcome
You can add an Offering Outcome to the Offering by clicking the + Add Offering Outcome button in the top right of the page. You will be asked to add a description of the Outcome. Click the Confirm button to create the Outcome.
Reorder Outcomes
You can reorder Outcomes by hitting the up or down arrows to the left of the Outcome ID in the table. This will move the Outcome up or down the list one place.
Edit Outcome Description
You can edit the description for an outcome by clicking the pencil icon. Once you have made your changes, click the green tick to save the change.
Transfer an Outcome to a different Offering
You can transfer an Outcome to a different Offering. Click the Transfer button to the right of the Outcome and then select a new Offering to move the Outcome to.
This may have unintended consequences, so be careful!
Remove an Outcome
You can remove an Outcome by clicking the Remove button to the right of the Outcome description. You can only remove outcomes with no associated Components.
View Offering Components
Click the down arrow to view the Components associated with this Offering.
Much like for the Outcome itself, you are also able to:
- Reorder Components via the up and down arrows to the left of the Component description.
- Transfer the Component to a different Offering Outcome.
- Delete the Component via the Remove button.
- Add a Component via the + Add Component button, this time located at the end of the list of Components for the Outcome. You will be shown a list of all Component Templates and will be able to select and deselect the Component Templates that are relevant.
Each Component added to the Offering Outcome is able to be edited directly from the Outcomes view. You can edit the Component Title, Estimated Units, Budget, Law Area and Law Sub Area from here as well. This will not affect other Outcomes or Offerings that use the same Component Template.
View Budget for Outcome
The total Budget and Estimated Units for all Components assigned to the Outcome are displayed to the right of the Outcome description.
Problem / Outcome
Problems / Outcomes section consists of all the problems and their respective Outcomes (solutions) with respect to an Offering.
It consists of followings sections

You can Add a new Problem and Outcome pair by going to the end of the list, adding the details and clicking the + Save button to save the pair.
Delete a Problem Outcome pair
You can delete a Problem and Outcome pair by clicking the ellipsis beside the pair and selecting Delete.
Resources
The Resources page will capture all resources required to learn about an Offering and to deliver an Outcome to a Client. Resources added to the Offering from this page will appear on the left, whilst Resources added to Components associated with any of the Offering Outcomes will appear on the right.
Add a Resource
You can add a Resource by clicking any one of the following buttons at the top of the table, and selecting the item from the list of Resources.
- + Syntaq Form
- + Urls
- + Documents
Remove a Resource
You can remove a Resource from the Offering by clicking the ellipsis beside the Resource and selecting Delete.
Merge Offerings
As Offerings are tightly interwoven with our metrics and metadata, we don't allow them to be deleted unless they have not yet been associated with a Matter. However we can merge one Offering into another. Simply click the + Merge Offering button in the top right of the Offerings page.
Select the Offering you want to merge (Old Offering) and the Offering you want to merge it into (New Offering). This will assign Matters associated with the old Offering to the New Offering, and add the Outcomes and Components for the Old Offering to the New Offering.
All other data related to the Old Offering will be lost so don't do this lightly!
