Using a Form
Syntaq Forms can be accessed directly from the menu.
You can also access a Syntaq Form from a Matter.
Once you have selected the form you want to use you will be presented with two options.
- Start New: This will load the form with:
- No data if loaded from the standalone Syntaq Forms page, or
- Matter data if loaded from within a Matter.
- Or use one of your existing records: This will load data from a previous record. You can also load data from other forms as well - for example; you can load a Will data record into a EPOA form and the form will look for all the same fields and populate the form with that data. It is best-practice to not load records from within a Matter.
When a Syntaq Form is loaded from the Matter page, the will automatically prepopulate some of the Matter specific data so that you don’t have to re-key any data.
Details we will pass through into the form include:
- User Details
- Where the document will be sent
- Document creator name/code
- Client Details
- First Name and Last Name
- Organisation details
- Contact number
- Address
- Matter Details
- Matter Reviewer info
- Matter Coordinator Info
- Offering Data
- Office
Not all of these details are used by all Forms
Creating a Document
Once you have completed filling in all the mandatory fields, you can click on the Submit button. This will trigger a document assembly process, taking the data from your form and inserting it into the legal precedent (document template).
Once the document has been assembled you will be emailed a copy.
