Workflows (administration)
Workflows describe repeatable sequences of tasks or approvals (for example matter intake, conflict checks, or billing hand-offs). Administrators design workflows; staff interact with them through matters, projects, or automation hooks.
Where to find it
In the Admin area, open Workflows. Select a workflow to edit its steps, owners, and triggers (exact editor depends on tenant configuration).
Good practices
- Name workflows after business outcomes (“Matter open – litigation”) not tool jargon.
- Keep steps small so exceptions are easy to reroute.
- Document SLAs in your firm wiki; SBOS.AI stores execution state.
